I recently noticed two unfamiliar transactions on my Lloyds bank account debit card, ending in [redacted]. Our household did not place any food orders in the past week, but charges of £15.11 on October 24th and £21.27 on October 25th appeared. I recently placed an order on the Ubereats app, but upon delivery, I discovered that 2 cheeseburgers were missing, and the Vanilla milkshake I ordered was replaced with a coke. I promptly reported the issue on the app with photographic evidence. However, I was disappointed with their response as they refused to take any action or provide an explanation. Despite providing proof immediately, the customer service was unsatisfactory. In a prior order from McDonald’s through the app, we even received the wrong order. While I understand mistakes can happen, I believe customers should not bear the cost when they can demonstrate the error. Due to the inadequate responses on the app and Twitter support, I have decided to delete my Uber Eats account as I should not be charged for food I did not receive.

This is the sixth time we have recorded a video of receiving incomplete orders from McDonald's in Macclesfield via Uber Eats. We have yet to receive the correct refund, despite contacting the driver each time to no avail. We are frustrated by the lack of support on the Uber Eats app, leaving us £40 out of pocket once again. We are considering legal action, backed by the evidence we have documented. Our family has been repeatedly affected by this, and it is disappointing to see the lack of customer care and accountability on your part. We have proof of each failed delivery, and if this issue is not resolved promptly, we will take further action to ensure our voices are heard. This situation has cost us nearly £[redacted], and it is unacceptable given the current financial challenges we face. Your company's failure to rectify these errors is causing undue stress and financial strain on us.

We ordered from McDonald's in Skipton twenty minutes before closing, but no drivers were available for delivery. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this issue and waited over an hour before contacting the restaurant. We were only then notified that the order couldn't be delivered due to the lack of available drivers. The app did not update us on this, and the payment was pending. We ended up not getting any food as all other options were closed by the time we found out. It would greatly improve the customer experience if the app could indicate whether drivers are available to deliver orders. This lack of communication is unacceptable.

My order at Seoul Bowl yesterday was not delivered. I explained the situation in the app's help section, but I have not received a response. The order number is 4C7D0. I contacted the restaurant, and they said they gave the order to the Uber driver. After waiting for 1 hour and 50 minutes, the order never arrived, even though the app said it did. We have CCTV, and no delivery was made at our front door. I called the driver through UberEats, and she informed me that she never received the order. I am frustrated with the lack of response from the customer service team. I was charged 32 pounds for an undelivered order. I demand a refund. This level of service is unacceptable, especially from a large company.

I placed an order through your platform for McDonald's that never arrived. Despite waiting at the window after receiving a notification that the driver was one minute away, the delivery never came. I engaged in an online chat with them, but despite being told I would receive an email to address the problem, I have yet to receive one. I am seeking a refund for the undelivered order and will not be using Uber again. I only used the service for a McDonald's treat for my daughter and her friend during a sleepover. We had to resort to using another app, resulting in them having to settle for a chippy instead of their desired meal.

I had a terrible experience with Uber Eats last night. I ordered food from my local Domino's, which never arrived after waiting for hours. I then decided to order from McDonald's since the Domino's order never showed up. When I received 2 frappés from McDonald's, I discovered that they used expired milk in them, which was evident from the smell. I attempted to get a refund for the undelivered Domino's order that I was still charged for, but my refund request was denied. I also tried to get a refund for the expired drinks from McDonald's, but that request was rejected as well. I am frustrated with these experiences and hope to receive refunds for both incidents. This is not the first time I have faced such issues.

I need to address an issue with Uber regarding a refund request for items that were missing from my recent order. The order number is #91D41 with a total cost of £84.28, placed at 17:39 on 29/10/[redacted]. Despite receiving just part of my order which included x8 pack of Fanta Orange, fabric softener, x2 peanuts, and a pumpkin, I was informed by the driver that another driver would bring the remaining items, which never happened. Uber declined my refund request for the undelivered items, leaving me with a loss of £66.28. This practice is unacceptable. It is unclear why Uber is refusing to refund items that were not received. This situation suggests either negligence on the part of the driver or a failure by Uber to fulfill the order. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and find it concerning that similar incidents might be occurring. I have taken steps to report this to my bank as potential fraud and to Trading Standards for breach of contract if a full refund is not issued promptly. It is essential for Uber to take responsibility for errors made by their third parties and ensure that customers are not financially penalized for undelivered goods. I placed an order for food delivery that took over an hour to arrive. I tried contacting the delivery driver since the app showed the food was ready. Strangely, he was already on his way when I called. When he arrived, he was extremely impolite. I suspected the order was incorrect based on what he had. Despite my findings, including a missing sausage and egg McMuffin without the bun, an espresso, and a latte, he dismissively claimed it was not his problem. The rest of the order was cold, and he continuously mentioned it was not his concern, laughing. Unfortunately, I am currently undergoing cancer treatment and found his behavior at my door very uncomfortable, considering my hair loss. On October 30th, I placed an order on Ubereats for a Subway meal to be delivered at my place. I made a purchase on UberEats for Sainsbury items totaling around £23. However, some items were out of stock at Sainsbury, so only £8 worth of goods were delivered. Getting in contact with a human via chat is difficult due to long wait times and app timeouts. The situation is frustrating and unfair to customers, with drivers exploiting the system. I am seeking a full refund, accountability for the driver, and reform in the process to prevent such incidents from happening again.

I tried to order Chinese food on UberEats on Saturday, October 29th, intending to pay with PayPal. However, the website wouldn't process the payment with PayPal, so I used my debit card instead. To my surprise, I noticed a charge of 25 euros on my debit card, while the Chinese order went through PayPal. Upon investigating, it seems they charged me for a canceled order from September in France, where I tried to order a 25 euro Dominos pizza that got canceled without explanation, resulting in a charge via PayPal. After raising a dispute, PayPal refunded the 25 euros. Strangely, UberEats barred me from using their services until the 25 euro payment was completed. Initially, I thought I was entering my debit card details for the Chinese order, but it seems they used it to process the outstanding 25 euros before allowing me to proceed with the Chinese food order via PayPal.

My partner and I placed an order through Uber Eats at Rockabilly in CC Las Ramblas (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). Initially, the estimated delivery time was between 3:00 PM and latest by 3:30 PM. The delivery person was a guy. At 3:06, we checked the order status, and it showed the delivery would be at 3:30 PM. The guy was already on his way to pick up the order. However, at 3:30, we checked again, and now it shows the estimated arrival time is 4:00 PM, latest by 4:00 PM. The delivery person has changed (now a girl) and is still far from the restaurant (heading there to pick up the order). Given all this, I request a refund for the order at the very least since we had to eat on our own.

I reached out to you yesterday through the help section but have not received any response yet. Yesterday morning, I placed an order with you for my local Asda. Hello, I am reaching out regarding my recent food order with reference number #887F0. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up as I received someone else's order with reference number b3fb4. I informed the delivery person that the order was incorrect, but he advised me to contact McDonald's about the issue. I have attached a picture of the incorrect order along with the receipt showing the items received did not match our order. I placed an order last Sunday from Iceland in Stratford with the order number 0C27D. The driver named Ricardo A. took a picture of my house from outside the door, but when I opened the door, he was on his motorbike across the street. As I opened the door, he quickly left without giving me my order, essentially stealing the food I had ordered. Despite trying to contact him multiple times, he never answered the phone. I reported the issue on the app, but no action was taken, and I received no support. It's disappointing that a driver would steal the food I paid for, and even more so that Uber Eats has not addressed this properly or provided any assistance. I expect a refund for the undelivered food and find it unacceptable that such incidents are not dealt with more seriously. The delivery driver arrived at the building but couldn't locate the correct apartment. I informed him that the door frame states 22-25 while the door itself says 24. Despite my explanation, he didn't respond within the Uber timer of 7 minutes and eventually left without delivering. I tried calling him multiple times to provide better directions, but he didn't pick up. As a co-op is right in front of my flat, I resorted to UberEats as I couldn't leave my place. I'm disappointed with the service and how the driver handled the situation. I feel frustrated as I wasted my time, especially since there's no customer service number available and the driver continues to ignore my calls.
