Hello, I am extremely upset about my recent order experience. I placed the order just after 7 p.m. on Saturday with a promised delivery by 7:55 p.m. Unfortunately, the drivers kept canceling on my order, leaving us without our pizzas even by 8:30 p.m. After contacting the store, they directed me to reach out to you. I had to go to the Big Chicken shop to reorder via the app, only to receive pre-made pizzas that were just sitting there. This whole situation has been incredibly disappointing, and I strongly feel that a full refund should be issued promptly. The service provided was unacceptable, and my family and I had to endure this inconvenience and embarrassment. I tried to contact Uber Eats customer service with no luck and received a generic response about not being charged for the initial order, which was unsatisfactory given the circumstances. Hello, Today, I placed an order through the app, but I was not shown the delivery fee before payment. The total for the food was £26.98, but after I paid, the screen showed £32.47, which is over £5 more. I tried to cancel due to the high delivery fee (we usually pay around £2.50 or £3.00), but there was no option to cancel. I'm curious why there is no cancellation button available shortly after placing the order, before the food was prepared. Additionally, it would have been helpful to see the delivery fee before payment to reconsider. I also struggled to locate the receipt on the app. Overall, my experience was disappointing as I faced challenges with basic functions on the app and found no assistance options or a valid email address for support.

On November 24, [redacted], I placed an order on the Uber Eats app totaling €33.68. After paying and tipping the driver, the food took longer than expected. Upon contacting the driver for directions, she claimed not to understand and repeatedly hung up, leading to frustrations. Unfortunately, the driver retained our food, and despite reporting the incident to Uber Eats, they sided with the driver's explanation that she couldn't locate us. Despite my efforts to get a refund for the lost order, Uber Eats declined. Consequently, I sought recourse through PayPal, canceling the tip and gaining a refund through their support. Now, facing difficulties closing my Uber Eats account due to an alleged outstanding balance, the company is uncooperative, which led to my resolve to discontinue using their services. Many others are facing similar challenges, as evident on social media platforms, and it remains a concerning issue unresolved by Uber Eats.

I placed an order with Chili's yesterday evening around 6:45-6:50. Despite waiting until about 8:20, I decided to cancel due to the excessive wait time. I wasn't charged for the tip, delivery charge, or taxes and fees (thanks to a 50% off coupon I used for the order), but I was still billed for the food itself, totaling $29.36. I received no notification of a driver picking up my order, leaving me unsure if a driver was available or simply chose not to deliver. I am uncertain whether this is UberEats or Chili's policy to charge for food in a canceled order scenario. If this falls under UberEats' policy, I kindly request a refund of the food cost, as it doesn't seem fair to pay for food that I never received.

Dear Concerned Party, I am writing about my Uber Eats account in the UK. On March 11th, I discovered my account was closed due to insurance verification issues. I contacted support, but received automated responses. I provided the necessary documentation, but my account remains closed. When I asked for clarification, I was informed about service quality concerns, which were never previously mentioned. I take my job seriously and have asked for specific feedback to improve. Despite these efforts, my account is still inactive. I am worried about ongoing insurance costs for a non-operational account. I recently spent £40 on 2 orders for my staff. I contacted the restaurant right away, but was directed to contact customer support. I spoke with Mohamid Razi in live support who apologized and assured me he would resolve it. After getting the same response multiple times, I decided to speak with the manager at the McDonald's on Edge Lane, Phil. Phil promised me 2 free big meals on my next visit to make up for the issue. Despite my efforts, I only wanted the food I paid for, not a refund. When the issue was not resolved, I contacted McDonald's directly and spoke with Phil, who expressed his disappointment. Moving forward, I will not be using your services again, and will inform my staff and contacts likewise. Despite Phil's sincerest apologies, I felt let down. I have reported this to the authorities and will be sharing my experience with others. Thank you.

Hi, I wanted to discuss a recent order placed on the 22nd of March. Unfortunately, we never received the order. We tried to contact the driver without success, and when reaching out to your customer service, we were told the order was complete and couldn't be assisted further as priority was given to active orders. Despite reaching out through the in-app help, we were denied a refund. Speaking to a manager at the restaurant confirmed our order was picked up. Not only are we not getting the refund we deserve, it seems there may be unauthorized individuals taking orders on behalf of your company. I'm looking for a resolution on this matter. We have a doorbell camera that shows no attempt was made to deliver to us. Thank you. Rosie P.

On March 17th, I placed an order at 6:30 using a £15 voucher from work. The estimated delivery time was between 7:10 pm and 7:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, there was no update despite my inquiries through the app and a later phone call to the restaurant showed the order was picked up around 7:40/7:45 pm. By 7:58 pm, I realized it was running late with no communication. The delivery finally arrived at around 8:15 pm, almost 40-45 minutes after being picked up and the food was cold. To make matters worse, the full amount was charged to my account despite using a voucher. I checked the app today and it shows I owe £23.50. I expect the outstanding amount to be cleared from my account and I hope to forget this experience of receiving inedible, cold food due to the delay and billing error.

I encountered an issue trying to place an order on UberEats. When attempting to pay with a card, my promotion is removed. When opting for cash, a checkout problem notification appears, directing me to the in-app help section which did not provide guidance on ordering. Despite having a significant discount, it seems insufficient to cover the order. This discount motivated my decision to use UberEats, but I am unable to make a purchase. The expected food delivery is in an hour, causing frustration as I am unable to proceed with the order. I have reached out via a different email as I reserve my usual email for food apps. Hello, I didn't receive my order. I did not get a knock on the door or a phone call. When I called the restaurant, they were unsure of the door number. This has not happened with my previous orders. An email I received mentioned it's not a charge, but it also stated the restaurant began my order and I was charged. My order was not delivered, and I ended up getting McDonald's for my partner's birthday as it was late. I am frustrated with the service and treatment. Even though Uber assured me a refund, my bank confirmed the money was deducted. I am distressed. It's challenging to contact Uber by phone, and it's frustrating.

I recently began working for Uber Eats on 02/24/[redacted]. After completing [redacted] ride or delivery trips within 30 days, I was promised a minimum earning of $1,[redacted]. I have successfully completed the required trips on time. However, I have not received the additional payment to make up the difference between my earnings and the guaranteed amount. I have ordered from Uber Eats and specifically Albasha's restaurant more than [redacted] times in the last two years as per the Sherwood Forest location. However, six days ago on 3/18/[redacted], when I placed an order, it prompted me for a code. While I have done this before without issues using other apps on my computer and phone, for some reason, Uber's emails with codes are not reaching me. I have spent a significant amount of time troubleshooting with AT&T, and they have confirmed that everything is working fine on their end. Uber claimed they "turned it back on," but I have yet to receive any codes. If Uber cannot resolve this simple issue, they will lose my business forever. I will look to alternatives like Grubhub and Doordash who have been more reliable for me.

On March 21st, I was excited to receive an email from Uber Eats offering a 30% discount on a $50.00 order. I promptly placed a $51.24 order (before taxes) at KFC last night with order number: BB7BB. However, to my dismay, the discount was not applied, and I was charged the full price. I attempted to resolve this via my android device but struggled with the chat feature. Despite being promised a message, I never received one after waiting over 2 hours. Even reaching out via email proved futile as I was directed back to the app for support. Feeling increasingly frustrated, I am reaching out for assistance in rectifying this situation with Uber Eats and obtaining the 30% refund as initially promised. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I encountered an issue with my order on 20/03/22. The problem occurred when we placed two orders. The first order was placed around 6:30 pm, and even though it stated that my card was declined, I was still charged £17.80. The second order was made around 7 pm, and it was confirmed, but the delivery time kept extending by 10 minutes until 9 pm. Eventually, the order was canceled. I encountered issues on the Uber Eats app where my discount wasn't applied, preventing me from ordering. I had to cancel my order with the restaurant and then reorder, but I was charged for both transactions. Despite reaching out to Uber Eats for a refund within 48 hours, they declined. Their help article suggests waiting 10 days for a refund, which I haven't received yet. I'm frustrated as I'm now out of £32.50 due to this error. I've been unable to reach them via email and discovered the online complaint addresses are invalid. My only option seems to be contacting them through Twitter or the app, but I feel helpless and want to address this issue.

I ordered sushi, but the process was very slow. The delivery person was unresponsive and never delivered my food, despite multiple attempts to contact them. This is the second time this has happened with UberEats. I feel like this is a scam and I would like a refund. I'm disappointed with the service and unsure if I will order from them again. It's frustrating to not receive my order and face communication issues with the delivery person.

I placed an order today, March 30, [redacted], with Golden Goose Redditch for 3 carveries. Unfortunately, only 1 carvery was delivered. After contacting them, they advised me to request a refund for the missing carvery and place a new order, which I did. When I attempted to eat the 2 carveries that arrived, they were subpar. The meat was extremely tough, and the meal did not include the items I had ordered such as carrots, onions, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, roast potato, potato with cheese, gravy, and crackling. Instead, I received corn, stuffing, cabbage, without onions, crackling, or parsnips. This experience completely ruined my day. I tried to raise a complaint through the app, but it only allows me to get a refund for the missing meal. The service and website were disappointing, and I will not be ordering from them again.

I placed an order via the app for dinner delivery to my apartment where my husband was supposed to be waiting. Unfortunately, the driver arrived with the food but did not ring the apartment as instructed. Despite providing clear directions on where the building is located and requesting them to ring the apartment, the driver called my phone instead. I had specified the need for them to ring the apartment as sometimes I am unavailable to answer the phone, especially if I'm in a meeting or traveling. However, the driver did not contact the apartment where my husband was waiting and left with my food. I contacted customer service through the app, detailing the issue, but they closed my query by stating that the driver tried calling me, completely disregarding the fact that they did not follow the instructions to ring the apartment.

This morning I placed an order for 74 euros. The delivery driver confirmed the order but I never received it. After contacting the driver, Amadou explained he had an accident and would not be able to deliver the order. He advised me to contact Uber Eats. Unable to find their phone number, I am reaching out here. When I tried to contact Uber Eats, Amadou instructed me to stop calling him and abruptly hung up on me. I am very frustrated with Uber as they have made numerous mistakes at my expense. I need this issue resolved quickly. I am disabled and cannot afford to waste money. An order I placed on 21/03/22 took so long to be delivered that the food was cold and unpleasant. The driver was unhelpful and blamed me for incorrect address details. When I tried to explain, he raised his voice and left in a bad mood. I reported this issue but it was not resolved. Then, on 30/3/22, I placed another order and was charged the wrong delivery fee. Once again, the food was not warm. Despite contacting Uber, the problems were not resolved. I now request to speak to a manager who is understanding as I have Parkinson's disease and struggle with speech. I feel disrespected when your staff speak to me as if I am stupid.
