To Whom It May Concern, I am Sara Pirovano and I am seeking information regarding my upcoming flight from Milan to Zanzibar on 09/06/[redacted] departing at 16:15 and returning from Zanzibar to Milan on 09/10/[redacted] departing at 23:05. I have a couple of questions: 1. Can you clarify your policy regarding stopovers with the same airline? If the outbound flights to Zanzibar are both operated by Qatar Airways, and I have a 2-hour and 35-minute stopover in Doha, will the second flight wait for the first one in case of a delay, ensuring passengers can make the connection? 2. I would also like to inquire if it's possible to change the departure date of my return flight from Zanzibar to Milan (currently scheduled for 09/10/[redacted]). If so, is there a fee for changing the date and how many days in advance do I need to make this change? I appreciate your assistance in addressing these queries. I recently received an email notifying me of a change to my flight itinerary. The new flight times provided by Qatar Airways are causing inconvenience as the connecting flight overlaps by five minutes. Originally, I had a booking from Harare to London on the 23rd of May. The Harare to Joburg flight now departs at 13:55, and the connecting flight in Joburg leaves at 13:50 on the same day. Unfortunately, I am unable to find the option to change my flight online. I would appreciate any assistance in managing my booking to make it suitable for my travel plans.

I've attempted to rebook online, but the website won't allow it. Additionally, I've tried contacting two Qatar call centers; waiting 1 - 1 1/2 hours with no response. A message through messenger was met with an auto-reply advising me to rebook online or call. Our flight was canceled, and I need to rebook, but I can't do so through manage booking. Can you assist me? Can we reschedule for Thursday, May 13, [redacted]? Our original route was CLT - IAD - DOH - LHE, but we had to go through CLT - BOS - DOH - LHE when we rebooked. We prefer the original route but will go through BOS if there's an extra charge to fly through IAD. Thanks for your help.

To whom it may concern in the QR booking department, I am writing on behalf of my daughters, N.B. and N.B., scheduled to fly to Brisbane via QR on the 18th with flights QR557 (BOM/DOH) and QR898 (DOH/BNE). They are looking forward to reuniting with their father after 3 years in Brisbane, AU. We are currently in Bangalore, and due to a cyclone in the western part of India, our BLR-BOM Vistara flight on the 17th was cancelled. We rebooked on SpiceJet but that flight was also cancelled last minute, leaving no options for them to catch their QR flight on the 18th to DOH. The girls are incredibly eager to see their father and were heartbroken to miss their chance to fly on the 18th. I kindly request your assistance in confirming their booking for the 23rd. Hello, I am writing with regards to our upcoming flight from Milan to the Philippines. Originally scheduled for June 16, [redacted], we've been informed that it's been rescheduled for July 3, [redacted]. This adjustment poses quite a challenge for us due to our housing situation. Our current lease ends on May 31, but thankfully we were granted permission to stay until June 16. However, with the new flight date falling on July 3, we've had to request an extension until that date, with the understanding that it will be our final request. My final destination is Antananarivo, Madagascar, and I continued my journey on flight AF0934 on June 6, [redacted], from Paris to Madagascar. Due to a lack of a transit visa in Paris, I was not able to claim my baggage, resulting in it being left at CDG Airport. Unfortunately, my baggage has not been transferred from Qatar Airways Baggage Services to Air France Baggage Services yet. I kindly request for my baggage to be promptly transferred to the next available Air France flight heading to Antananarivo, Madagascar. Hello! I am Dr. A.R. I had booked a ticket from Pakistan to the Maldives with a transit in Doha, Qatar. Unfortunately, I was denied boarding without a clear explanation, simply being told that my country is in a red zone according to Maldives authorities. I had confirmed prior that healthcare professionals with a valid work permit could enter the Maldives without issues. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive. I flew from India to Canada through Muscat on June 2, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I tested positive for Covid-19 upon arrival in Muscat and am currently quarantined in the airport hotel. A month ago, I had Covid-19 and recovered after isolating at home. I tested negative twice in India just before my flight. I have had no symptoms since arriving. Once my 14-day quarantine is over and I receive confirmation from the health ministry in Muscat, I plan to travel via Qatar Airways to Canada. Despite still possibly testing positive after the 14 days, individuals recovering from Covid-19 may test positive for up to 3 months post-exposure. I'm looking forward to traveling from Oman to Qatar and then to Canada. I would appreciate a prompt response to clarify if I can proceed with my travel plans. Thank you, Jomin

I had a booking for a flight to Canada on June 27th with the booking reference UF9CVM. Unfortunately, I received an email from Qatar Airways last night informing me that the flights, QR [redacted] and QR [redacted], have been canceled due to operational reasons. Even though my account still shows the ticket as confirmed, it is operated by Air Canada. I tried to contact customer care for information and a refund, but after being on hold for three hours without success, I am feeling very frustrated. I was recently denied boarding on flight QR933 from Manila to Nairobi via Doha due to the airline citing incomplete eVisa documentation. Despite explaining that I had applied for a multiple entry visa that required physical delivery, I was not allowed to board. The Kenya Airport Authority website confirms that visas can still be obtained upon arrival, as per paragraph 6 of their immigration services section. I am a Canadian citizen, which is an eligible nationality for this process. I am requesting a full refund for my ticket UTGO9E and the expensive upgrade I purchased, as the boarding denial was unwarranted. It is important for passengers to be aware of destination country requirements, but Qatar Airways' ground staff should also be knowledgeable and truthful in their communication. I have opened a case with Qatar Airways (CAS-[redacted]-M1M7L2) to understand the basis for their decision but have yet to receive a response.

I am a 62-year-old native of Kerala, India, currently holding a valid 10-year visa for entry into the US. Recently, I contacted your representative on [redacted] on July 24th at 2 pm for assistance with booking a stay in Detroit for one month. Unfortunately, the representative informed me that there were restrictions barring travelers like me from making reservations. I politely requested that my contact information be noted down so that I could be informed once the ban is lifted to proceed with booking my tickets. However, the representative stated that this was not possible and offered no solution. I expressed my disappointment at the lack of assistance and customer service provided, especially considering the potential business opportunity it presented. **UPDATED**: Luggage Retrieved I recently traveled from Tampa to Philadelphia to Doha to Erbil. Unfortunately, my luggage did not make it to Erbil with me; American Airlines claims it was transferred to Qatar in Philadelphia. Despite filing a report, two days have passed with no progress in locating my distinct 29-inch dark blue Rimowa suitcase, which has noticeable green paint and my name and email address written on it in white. I have shared pictures with Qatar Airlines, urging them to check both Philadelphia and Doha for my luggage. Despite my efforts, I have received little assistance, with Qatar Airlines only stating they are working on it. Given the unique markings, including my email address, I hope they will take action promptly to locate and send my luggage to Erbil.

I am a British citizen currently in Qatar with an EDT passport trying to travel back to the UK via a stop in Greece. Unfortunately, I couldn't renew my passport due to COVID-19 and time constraints. I finished my contract and planned to return on Friday but was informed that to enter Greece, I would need a visa despite the information on the UK government website suggesting otherwise. My original travel plans included an 11-day stay in Greece since the UK still considers it a red-list country. Urgently, I require special permission or assistance as my residence permit is expiring, and my family is dealing with the aftermath of a recent tornado that has severely affected our home. I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance you can offer me during this challenging situation.

Dear Sir, I am writing to inform you that my upcoming flight with Qatar Airways from Hyderabad to Denver on 9th Sept [redacted] has encountered an issue. I received an email two days ago stating that my Seattle-Denver flight AS [redacted] was canceled, and I was automatically rebooked on Alaska Flight AS [redacted], departing Seattle at 13.15 hrs. Unfortunately, this only leaves me with a 1.20-hour transit time in Seattle, which is not sufficient considering customs and immigration procedures as a student traveling to the USA for the first time. I was advised that a minimum of 3.30 hours is needed to connect an international flight to a domestic one in Seattle. Therefore, I kindly request to be rebooked on the following flight for the Seattle-Denver leg on 9th Sept: United Airlines (UA [redacted]) Dep [redacted] / Arrl. [redacted] at Denver. My husband and his daughter were denied boarding on flight QR [redacted] from LAX to DOH on July 2, connecting to QR [redacted] on July 4, because my 86-year-old disabled husband, Armond Habiby (2ZEP75), did not have the Saudi app Tawakkalna, which is non-functional for new users in both the US and Saudi Arabia despite multiple attempts. He has all the necessary documents for Covid tests, immunization, and visas. We are urgently seeking an exception for him to travel today. The [redacted] number provided has left us on hold for over 2 hours without speaking to a person. We request his ticket and his daughter Anne Habiby's ticket be rescheduled for today, July 3, with the assistance of the LAX station manager who is aware of the situation.

I am concerned about the Qatar Airways schedule for the flight from Philadelphia, USA to Kolkata, India. Passengers are often missing their connections at DOHA due to the very short layover time. I booked a Premium Class ticket for this November and noticed that the transit time has been reduced from 2 hours and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 5 minutes for both the onward and return journeys. This short time frame not only puts our connections at risk but also does not allow us to enjoy the premium class lounge facilities at Doha. I have heard about the excellent Business Class Lounges in Doha, but due to the quick transit times, we are unable to visit them. I kindly request Qatar Airways to consider increasing the layover time so that Business Class passengers can experience and enjoy the top-notch airport facilities and lounges. Flights from JFK New York and Chicago have better transit times, allowing passengers to relax in the lounge after a long 14-hour flight before their next connection. I hope that Qatar Airways can address this issue to improve the experience for passengers facing these difficulties. Thank you, Sudipto Dasgupta

My family and I had a booking to fly from Beirut to Sydney on July 17, [redacted], on flights QR417 and QR908. My booking numbers were JHRW7J and JGXYRG. I have been residing in Lebanon since [redacted], and unfortunately, my mother passed away in Australia in February. I desperately need to attend to her affairs. I have already sold all my possessions and my children have had to leave their schools and university. I received an email from Qatar Airways on July 9, [redacted], stating that one of my bookings had been changed to July 18, [redacted], but the other booking cannot be located.
