I have a Lowrance HDS7 Gen 3 at the steering wheel, a HDS 12 Gen 3 at the bow of my boat, and a Point 1 antenna at the back. I am looking to set it up so that only the boat triangle turns on the map, not the entire chart. Currently, when I approach waypoints, the map rotates, causing the waypoint to appear farther from the boat. Can you please provide instructions on how to configure both units to achieve this? Thank you in advance.

I recently installed two networked HDS Live units and added a Ghost trolling motor to my boat straight out of the boxes. However, I am facing difficulties as my trolling motor doesn't respond to the go-to command for waypoints, and I can't find the necessary menus under autopilot on the MFDs. The sidebar for the trolling motor is also missing. I am unsure if I require any additional equipment to establish communication between my MFDs and the trolling motor, or if the HDS Live units and Ghost motor should suffice. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I recently purchased a Lowrance 9" HDS Live Monitor (Part # [redacted]2-[redacted]) along with an insight active imaging 3-1 transducer Sonar (part # [redacted]9-[redacted]), a 12" HDS Live Monitor (Part # [redacted]7-[redacted]) with a Radar - Halo 20+ (part # [redacted]2-[redacted]), a NEMA [redacted] starter kit (Part # [redacted]-69), and a Precision 9 Compass (Part # [redacted]7-[redacted]). I've been trying to reach your 1-[redacted] number without success. Below are my questions: 1. Does the power for both monitors flow through the Joiner Manifold? 2. Does the manifold enable communication between the two monitors, or do I need to run a cable from monitor to monitor? If so, which port from the main monitor to the secondary monitor should I connect the cable to (12" monitor A,B,C,D,D,E,F,G) (9" monitor A,B,C,D,D,E)? 3. Must the front monitor be active for the back monitor to function, or can the back monitor operate independently? 4. I currently have a Lowrance through hull transducer model # 31-[redacted]-2-01. Is there a compatible pigtail that will allow me to connect it to the new 12" or 9" monitor I bought? 5. Can both monitors use the same transducers concurrently? Can I plug the 3-1 transducer into the 9" monitor and the through hull transducer into the 12" monitor? How should they be connected at the back of the monitors? 6. Should the radar be connected to the manifold N2K-T-RD micro connectors or the main monitor? 7. Should the Precision 9 compass be connected to the manifold or the main monitor? 8. Based on the answers, do I have all the necessary cables for these connections?

I believe I am missing the deflector bracket located at the base of my transducer unit. This results in water splashing up onto the engine and transom. I own a FA Elite-5 Touch with a standard transducer, and unfortunately, the bracket has broken off. I would like to request a replacement bracket. The serial number on my unit is [redacted]1. Please let me know how I can send you a picture of the bracket. I purchased the product on July 1, [redacted]. Feel free to reach out via email at [redacted] While a phone call would also be appreciated, my number is [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Jim Petty

I recently bought a boat with your older model LMS-525C DF gps/finder unit. How do I turn off the GPS side and only use it when necessary? I don't want it on all the time. I've read through the manual but could only find how to hide the GPS screen. I want it completely off. Can I unplug the GPS side without affecting the depth/fish finder function? The complexity of this unit's manual is overwhelming and has made me question the GPS/Finder units. I just want a simple fish finder/depth finder for fishing, not a complicated system. I hope the newer units are more user-friendly.

I have installed an Active Target 2. I downloaded the update for my HDS Carbon 9, and it saved successfully. However, the update for the Active Target 2 is not saving properly. All lights on the module are on. I received an email with an unlock code after registering the Active Target 2 but unsure where to enter it. I checked installation videos and believe everything is hooked up correctly. I am unable to save the software for the Active Target 2. Any assistance is appreciated.

I recently installed an Active Target 2 and downloaded updates for my HDS Carbon 9 and Active Target 2 on mini disks. While the update for the HDS saved successfully, I am having trouble saving the update for the Active Target 2 even after following the installation video. The module lights are displaying correctly. I received an email with an unlock code after registering the Active Target 2, but I'm unsure if this code needs to be entered somewhere for the software to save properly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I bought the Hook2/4X in September [redacted] at the end of the fishing season. I'm just starting to use it now, and it was working fine initially but suddenly the display seems upside down. The water depth is not showing correctly, and there are vertical lines on the screen. I'm also not seeing the fish represented as curves or the simulator display. I can provide a picture if needed. Please assist me with this issue. Thank you, Bill

I sent an email a week ago and tried calling Lowrance customer service multiple times with no luck. I bought a Ghost trolling motor for $[redacted], and I'm struggling to resolve an issue with it. The handle on the deploy cable broke because a set screw was missing from the cylinder. I need a second screw to fix it. The lack of help from Lowrance is frustrating, and I just want to enjoy fishing again with the motor working properly. Please reach out to me so I can get this sorted out. Thanks for your attention. - Brad L.

I received my Ghost Trolling motor in April and had it installed. We have been fishing seven times using it, and unfortunately, during our last trip, the handle for the retrieve/deploy cable came off unexpectedly. Given the significant investment of over $[redacted], I was surprised to encounter this issue. Upon investigation, I found that a screw was missing from the cylinder that secures the cable inside the handle. It seems there should have been two set screws, but only one was in place. The absence of the second screw caused the cable to break and fray at the bottom of the cylinder. I followed a Youtube video to inspect the handle. I kindly request that Lowrance sends me the missing screw to my home address so I can make the necessary repair and continue enjoying my fishing trips without disruption. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. B. L.

Hello from Australia! I recently upgraded from Active Target 1 to Active Target 2. However, I am facing issues with updating it. Despite going through the update process, it claims to be updated but it isn't reflecting the changes. I own an Elite FS9, HDS 12, and a new Active Target 2. I have attempted updating with 3 different SD cards and software from both the Australian and USA Lowrance websites. I even had my marine specialist check it twice and tried another Active Target 2 unit and HDS Pro screen, which showed the same update issue. This leaves me without depth readings and inconsistent temperature displays as everything else is updated except Active Target 2. The support I've received has been unhelpful, with conflicting information about the update being corrupt. I reached out on various Lowrance Facebook groups but haven't found anyone with a similar problem. Can anyone assist with this? Paul

Hello From Australia, I recently installed Active Target * from Active Target *. Unfortunately, I am facing an issue where Active Target * won't update as it should. Despite going through the update process, it keeps stating that it is updated, but the update does not seem to take effect. I have Elite FS* and HDS ** with a new Active Target *. I have tried using different SD cards and downloading updates from both the Australian and USA Lowrance websites. I even took my boat to the marine specialist twice, and we even swapped another Active Target * and HDS Pro screen to test if the unit was faulty. However, the update still does not work. As a result, I am encountering depth and temperature display issues. Despite seeking assistance from the marine specialist, I have not found a solution. It is frustrating that there seems to be limited help available, especially as I have not come across anyone else facing the same problem on various Facebook Lowrance sites. I am hoping to find a resolution soon for this perplexing issue. Paul

I lost my rudder plate while sailing on a small lake after capsizing. It's a Petrel 12 aluminum assembly, 1 ft wide by 3 ft long, likely at the lake's 5-6 ft depth with clear reddish water, soft bottom, and lots of weeds. I have a Lowrance Elite 4 Chirp unit with an Ice Transducer. I've tried using it but as a beginner, I struggled with the signals and could only see the bottom. Can this unit help me find my rudder? Any setup suggestions for a more effective search?
