I am seeking advice on replacing a Honeywell 3 wire communicating thermostat in a customer's home. The model TH9421C1004 thermostat is currently connected to an EIM module THM5421C, and as the model is no longer available, I am looking for a suitable replacement. With only three wires to work with, I am unsure if I need to replace just the thermostat or both the thermostat and EIM module. Any guidance on available replacement options would be greatly appreciated.
