I'm Edward Cheng. I was on EVA Air flight BR32 from Taipei to JFK on December 18, [redacted]. I arrived at JFK on Sunday night, December 19. After that, I took EVA Air's shuttle bus to Piscataway, New Jersey. Unfortunately, the shuttle bus driver forgot to unload one of my bags, which is an Adidas shoulder bag. It contains my passport, medication, and other crucial documents. I need assistance in locating my missing luggage.

Good evening, I am inquiring about buying two tickets for a trip on April 22, [redacted], returning on May 3, [redacted]. The tickets are for 1 Adult and 1 Child (9 years old) from Toronto Pearson International to Manila Ninoy Aquino. I plan to use my American Express card for my sister and niece's tickets. EVA AIR's website states that my sister must show my credit card during check-in at Toronto airport, which is inconvenient as I live in the U.K. The website mentions that if I use American Safe Key, a verification code, my sister won't need my credit card during check-in in Toronto, Canada. I am seeking clarification on this process. Thank you. Best regards, Leah Amahit

I am traveling from Heathrow to Phuket, transiting in Bangkok. My itinerary involves EVA Airlines from Heathrow to Bangkok, and then connecting to Smile Thai Airlines onward to Phuket. I am seeking clarification on the luggage transfer process. Will my baggage be automatically transferred to Smile Thai Airlines, or will I need to claim and re-check it myself at Bangkok? Can I proceed through customs without my luggage? Will the airport staff handle the baggage transfer, or do I need to check it in again upon arrival in Phuket? All my flights are under the same ticket number. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, W.R.

Hello, I recently booked a flight for three passengers from Krakow to Bangkok through the Gotogate website. Unfortunately, I received an email from Gotogate stating that the return flight from Bangkok to Vienna on February 14th has been canceled. Gotogate has proposed an alternative route, but it involves additional costs and inconveniences such as an extra night stay in Bangkok and Vienna. Gotogate is requesting around $[redacted] to cancel the flights, which is not acceptable. We would prefer to go with the alternative option presented. As per European flight regulations, we should be compensated for these added expenses. I am seeking guidance on how Eva Air will compensate us and the necessary steps to pursue this compensation. Regards, S. Morgan

I have a mental disability and planned to visit my girlfriend in the Philippines. Unfortunately, she advised against it, and I now wish to request a refund for my ticket due to my mistake. I face difficulties with the language and transportation, making the trip challenging without her support. I am unsure if I can get a refund or convert the fare into miles for future travel with the same airline. The cost of $1,[redacted].50 is significant for me as I am an adult who cannot live independently. I am relieved that I can still travel to Florida with my caregiver if the ticket can be transferred. Assistance with these concerns would be greatly appreciated as I am feeling anxious about the situation.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you that my son, D.C. Managbanag, flew from IAH as per the rebooking with United Airlines UA1711. Regrettably, upon boarding his LAX-TPE flight BR11, he discovered his checked luggage was only tagged to LAX and not to Cebu as required. His luggage remains at LAX. UA Baggage Recovery stated that EVA must contact them to forward the bags on the next flight to Cebu. Despite numerous attempts to contact your Houston and LAX offices for assistance, we have not been successful so far. We are puzzled as to how his bags were not checked all the way to Cebu when he was checked in at Houston. Items crucial for his school are in those bags, and we are hopeful you can assist us promptly. Do not hesitate to call me at [redacted] (mobile) or [redacted] (landline) or email me with any queries. Sincerely, Raymundo Managbanag Membership Number [redacted]2

Hello, I inadvertently left my drawing and painting bag on one of my recent EVA Air flights. The bag is small and orange in color, holding a pencil case also in orange. These items are crucial for me as an artist. The bag also contains a Windsor and Newton watercolor kit. The flights I took were Eva Airways BR 35 from Toronto to Taipei on February 21, and BR [redacted] from Taipei to Hanoi on February 22. If found, please reach out to me. I will be returning to Canada on April 19 with EVA Air flight 2L6A9H from Phnom Penh to Taipei. I am hopeful for a response. Thank you, Joan Lacasse.

Dear EVA Airlines, I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience on my flight from Houston to Taipei (BR51). The flight was delayed by 2 hours, causing me to miss my connection to Seoul. I spent the entire day on the 20th navigating Taoyuan airport to secure a new flight, only managing to get one on Korean Air 8 hours later. Regrettably, this caused me to miss a special family event. Adding to the inconvenience, my luggage did not arrive with me in Seoul and was lost for 2 days until it was delivered at midnight on the 23rd. The delay in receiving it meant I was without essential items like daily medications. This experience has been distressing, as arriving in a foreign country without critical belongings has posed health concerns. The flight delay disrupted my plans and extended my trip. I kindly request compensation for the troubles faced or for the change fee to be waived for my Tokyo to Houston flight, as it was affected by the delays in the previous flights. For your reference, my EVA Air Confirmation Number is: 2S2E4Y. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this matter and understanding the challenges encountered. Best regards, Tao Wang

I am disappointed with the lack of customer service from Eva Airways. It was frustrating not being able to wait in a queue when calling in. Missing my flight to Taiwan due to unexpected motion sickness was a challenge. I managed to get a flight back home to St. Louis, but now I am seeking assistance with refund or rebooking options. The automated response about busy agents lacked empathy. Eva Air needs to prioritize customer support better.

Upon our arrival in Manila from Toronto on February 20, [redacted], we discovered that five pieces of our luggage were missing. After three days, the luggage was finally delivered by a courier, requiring us to pick it up at Victory Liner Bus Station in Cauayan, Isabela, Philippines. In the meantime, we had to spend a significant amount of money on new clothing and personal items to tide us over. This situation has caused us a great deal of inconvenience and stress, taking away from what was supposed to be an enjoyable vacation. Despite numerous attempts to contact Eva Air's customer service through various phone numbers, we have been unable to reach them due to the lack of an email address for communication. I intend to submit a formal complaint regarding the delayed delivery of our five missing pieces of luggage.

I traveled from Newark, NJ, with layovers in Munich and Taipei before reaching Manila, where my luggage failed to arrive. A delay exiting Newark caused a tight connection in Munich, likely resulting in my baggage being separated from the continuation of my journey. Despite my efforts, my bags remain missing, and I am departing for the US soon. I have not been updated on any progress, and attempts to reach out to Eva have been unsuccessful. At this point, I simply wish for my belongings to be located and returned to Newark. I have coped with the situation during my trip. How can I ensure that my bags are located and sent back to me?

I'm concerned about my upcoming flight, BR87 from Taipei to Paris on April 20th. It seems that the flight is delayed and my seat, despite being paid for (booking reference: 6ZMLC3) and showing confirmation on my ticket, is still not confirmed. The issue was only discovered when attempting to check in online, leading me to believe that the plane may have been overbooked. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact the Paris office via phone have been unsuccessful, and I am unsure of what steps to take next. Ensuring my return to Paris after my vacation is important, and I hope to resolve this situation promptly.

I recently signed up for an Eva account, but I'm unable to log in using my email and password. The error message states that the system couldn't log me in with my email address and suggests using a membership number or username, which I haven't received. I considered signing up again, but the system recognized that I already have an account. I've been attempting to access my account for a few days, but the issue remains unresolved. Thank you.

Regarding Property Irregularity Report BR247685. I am an American citizen contacting Eva Customer Service to file a formal complaint about my experience with Eva flight [redacted] and to request assistance in locating my missing luggage (BR247685) promptly. Upon traveling from JFK, New York, to Taipei aboard BR31 and subsequently taking Eva [redacted] from Taipei to Beijing, I have encountered a problem with my luggage, which is currently unaccounted for in Beijing. I am troubled by the decision made by Eva [redacted] to leave behind the luggage of 14 customers at JFK airport, purportedly based on considerations such as the preference for first or business class customers and fuel costs. This action has left me without essential belongings, including medication, during my visit to family in Beijing, leading to significant inconvenience. I am looking to address this issue urgently, seeking a resolution and requesting a partial refund for the mishandling of my luggage.

Due to my sister's passing on February 20, [redacted], my husband returned to Houston without me as I had to make arrangements for the funeral. When he informed the airline staff about the situation, they mentioned the possibility of a credit or refund for my unused ticket. I had to book a new ticket to return to Houston with Booking Number: 6RJUNW. I kindly request a refund or credit for the unused portion of my original ticket. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change our travel date to April 11 with the same Reservation Code HOCSWZ. We paid $[redacted] per ticket to Lido Tours & Travel to make this change. Can you please advise if we will receive a refund for our tickets, considering the circumstances? Thank you for your assistance.
