Hello, some time ago, my job was reduced to part-time due to Covid, affecting my unemployment benefits. I noticed status H and message [redacted] on my account. Currently working part-time, I also have child support/alimony deductions and am missing out on the additional $[redacted] compensation from my benefits. This has led to partial garnishment of my payments. For instance, on 1-15-21, I worked 16.5 hours and received $87.34, and on 1-29-21, I received $87.80. Due to my situation, I am not receiving the additional support I am entitled to. I kindly request a review of my benefits and the issuance of any overdue payments. Thank you for your assistance. - Paul G.

Good afternoon, my name is Mario. I am currently collecting unemployment benefits. When I first filed, I believe I mistakenly input a return-to-work date, even though my layoff slip did not have one. Now it seems I will be laid off beyond the date I provided. I am unsure if my weekly benefits will stop on the date I estimated or if they will continue as long as I file my weekly claim. I have attempted to contact multiple phone numbers from the Department of Labor website but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. Also, the callback option seems to be unavailable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I relocated from New Jersey to Connecticut for a job that began on 1/4/[redacted] but will end on March 4 due to COVID. In [redacted], my only income was cash assistance, unemployment benefits from April to September, and COVID relief payments, all from New Jersey. Despite being unemployed from September to December due to a New Jersey unemployment office malfunction, I was unable to receive benefits. Numerous attempts to contact the office, including through my state representative, have gone unanswered. I am unsure if my brief employment in Connecticut will affect my eligibility for unemployment benefits. How can I apply if I qualify? If not, what other options do I have to navigate these challenging circumstances? Thank you, P.M. Bauer Milford, CT

I need assistance for my special needs adult son. He has been unemployed due to COVID-19 and has been receiving unemployment benefits since March [redacted]. We file his claim every Sunday, but he has not received any payments in 6 weeks. Despite talking to a supervisor named Connie and having multiple phone appointments scheduled, we have not received any help or information on why his payments have stopped. My son is struggling to pay his rent and bills, and we are at a loss for what to do next. We have been reaching out through emails and calls to no avail. Please, we need urgent assistance as my son cannot handle these matters on his own. Thank you.

I am Saren Claude. I faced a problem where my previous employer claimed to offer me rehire when they did not. The employer's company, Northeast Industries, has been terminated and they reopened under the name Water's Edge. I have not been offered a job by either entity, leading my unemployment checks from 04/24/21 until now to be under review. Despite submitting the required documentation, I have not received an update on the review's status. I am seeking information on the review status to resolve this issue and receive the 7 weeks of pending pay. I suspect they are falsely claiming that I was offered rehire to avoid paying out on my unemployment claim for the now-closed company, but this is only my assumption. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Saren Claude.

My case number is [redacted]5. I've been awaiting a decision since around April 10th. I file my claims weekly, but benefit payments are on hold, with message code 42 showing. An agent mentioned my hearing would be on June 21, but I haven't received any updates. I faxed a Claimant separation statement on May 01, clarifying I never left my part-time job at Hertz car rental. I might have made an error when I reapplied for benefits in early April. After being temporarily laid off in March [redacted], I applied for benefits, and upon returning in late May [redacted], I worked reduced hours due to business slowing down. Despite the reduced hours, I was eligible for benefits. Presently, I'm working more hours and no longer qualify for benefits. Please provide me with an email or text update on my status at [redacted]. Thank you, Mark L.
