Dear Trivago, I recently cancelled my booking with id [redacted]77. Despite sending two emails regarding this issue, I have not received the refund promised. I cancelled the booking on December 18th, well before the check-in date of December 21st. It has been 12 days since my cancellation, and I have not seen any refund in my account. This lack of response and delay in processing the refund is causing me frustration. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have to bring it to social media. I am inquiring about the cancellation of my room booking despite making the payment. My booking ID is [redacted]05. I was surprised to find out upon arrival at Hotel Green Ridge, Salem that they do not have a tie-up with Agoda. Agoda confirmed my booking, but the hotel was unable to provide me with a room. Due to this inconvenience caused by Agoda, I was left without accommodation, and I did not receive a call from your end. I kindly ask for a refund of my money; otherwise, I will be compelled to take legal action against Agoda.

Yesterday, I booked a room at Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City, Philippines and made a full payment using my credit card. I logged in using my Gmail ID. My Gmail ID does not reflect my real name, so they mistakenly mentioned my name as "Karthickseemon" on the receipt. My true name is Karthick Ramalingam. Please rectify this error as soon as possible. I require the correct receipt for my Visa process. I appreciate your prompt assistance.

I attempted to contact Agoda but found no available numbers. I messaged them regarding rescheduling my booking due to a family emergency. Unfortunately, despite my written request since December 29th, [redacted], I have not received any response or call back. The hotel acknowledged the request, but Agoda has not responded. I am disappointed by the lack of communication and service provided. I would appreciate a prompt response as I need to reschedule my stay to January 18th, [redacted]. I made a reservation for a hotel in Plattsburgh for December 31st but mistakenly booked it for January 1st instead of changing it to 1 night. I tried to cancel, but it was non-refundable. I then made a new booking for December 31st-January 1st at a higher rate. I now wish to request a refund for the original mistaken booking. I booked a stay under the name Somjit Chowdhury on December 28th. The last 4 digits of the card used for payment are [redacted]. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any email or SMS confirmation for this booking. Consequently, I made a duplicate booking for the same hotel and dates: Hotel: Silver Sands Holiday Village Location: Goa, Candolim Dates: January 1st to January 4th Last 4 digits of the card used: [redacted] Emails: [redacted] or [redacted] Phone numbers: +[redacted]34 or +[redacted]84 I don't have the booking ID for the initial booking. I kindly request the cancellation of the first booking. It has been quite frustrating not receiving any communication regarding my bookings and resulted in unnecessary expenses. I attempted to make a reservation with McCentral Apartments in Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand. $[redacted].00 was withdrawn from my bank account without my knowledge. Upon arrival, I was asked for identification and an additional $[redacted].00 bond, which I was unable to provide as the other person accompanying me was going to cover it. Unfortunately, without the bond payment, I was denied the room and had to walk back home over 30 kilometers with all my luggage as there were no transportation options available. I am disappointed by this unfortunate experience and request a refund since only partial payment was made for the unsuccessful booking. The refund was processed on December 31, [redacted], but was later reversed. I kindly ask for clarification on this matter as I am considering seeking legal advice if necessary. I made a reservation at Pavilion Hotel for January 1st to 3rd, [redacted] through Agoda with full payment confirmation. However, upon arrival, the hotel stated my booking was rejected due to being sold out, without any prior notice from Agoda. I was not informed by Agoda about the hotel's full occupancy or offered alternative accommodation. I seek a refund to find another place to stay as I'm stranded in Durban without any knowledge of the area or contacts. I am extremely disappointed and urgently need a resolution. I am inquiring why my hotel booking at Savannah Resort Hotel through Agoda was unexpectedly canceled. There was no action taken by me to cancel the reservation set for January 1-5, [redacted]. I proactively contacted the hotel three days prior to confirm the credit card charge for the booking and was assured it was confirmed. Upon arrival on January 1, [redacted], the Front Office indicated the booking had been canceled by Agoda, much to my dismay. The hotel staff advised that a booking printout was unnecessary as my reservation was already confirmed. I was shocked to find an email from Agoda on January 1, [redacted], at 3:36 pm asserting a cancellation made by me, which I did not authorize. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated as my family, including my spouse and two children, traveled a long distance, anticipating a place to rest. I made a cash payment at the hotel, assuming it would be credited to the initial credit card used for booking. Restoring the original booking charged to the credit card is requested, as no cancellation request had been initiated by me. This matter needs immediate attention.

I previously inquired about a hotel reservation using the 'buy now pay later' option last year. I wanted to cancel this booking before the payment date, but when I checked my account at [redacted], I couldn't find any upcoming bookings. I, Afsal V. K., made a reservation at Hotel Grand Heritage Mumbai 39 days in advance for December 27th to 31st with trip number [redacted]6. Upon arrival, the hotel informed me that all rooms were sold out and directed us to another nearby, more expensive hotel requiring full payment. We were unable to contact customer service then or now. I filed a complaint with OYO, who said they transferred the complaint to you for a refund. I reserved a 1BR apartment at Taman Anggrek Residence in Jakarta, Indonesia through Travelio under the name Setiadi Indradjaja. I have completed the payment for the booking. The reservation is non-refundable. I have attempted to reach out to the host to obtain check-in details, but unfortunately, they have not responded. Moreover, they are unwilling to provide a refund. I am in a situation where I have not yet checked in, and I have not received any guidance on the check-in process. The host did not confirm the availability, although their website indicated availability at the time of my booking.

I recently booked three rooms on December 27, [redacted], at Hotel Hollywood Heights in Amritsar for which I paid 4,[redacted].44 INR. Upon my arrival, I was given a room under construction which was unacceptable due to several issues: flies in the room, broken switches, a strong onion smell from the kitchen, no hot water, cigarette buds in the bathroom, a stinky washbasin, and stained pillows. I have photographs of these conditions and can provide them if necessary. This experience was extremely disappointing and a source of mental and physical distress as I struggled to find alternative accommodations late at night. Despite sending multiple messages with evidence, I only receive generic responses. The level of customer service I have encountered is disappointing in today's competitive market. I have attempted to contact you through a phone number I found, but the automated prompts are in Italian. Additionally, the website indicates a 17-minute wait time, which is not acceptable. Compared to my experiences with other booking companies, this prolonged issue with your service is concerning and has persisted for days. I urge you to address this matter promptly.

I reserved a superior twin room for a stay on January 4th, [redacted], checking out on January 5th, [redacted]. Initially, I tried to reserve a room for RM [redacted].60 but didn't complete the transaction. However, I was charged by Agoda without confirming that reservation. Subsequently, I made another reservation at the same hotel with the provided booking ID. I kindly request to cancel the unauthorized charge of RM [redacted].60 and acknowledge the confirmed charge of RM [redacted].56 made by me. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I made a reservation at Lee Boutique Hotel in Tagaytay, Philippines on December 29th for my sister and future brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Vilog. When I was about to pay with my credit card, I noticed that the dates for check-in and check-out were mistakenly set for January 12th and 13th instead of January 29th and 30th. I made a booking for accommodation through Agoda this morning. The advertisement states that the option includes breakfast, pay later, and free cancellation. However, upon contacting the hotel, I was informed that Agoda had only booked a room without breakfast. This discrepancy is misleading. I kindly request Agoda to communicate with the hotel regarding the breakfast inclusion and to email both the hotel and me with an update. Hello, I have reservations made through Agoda for two different locations, one in Krabi at Noppharat Resort and another in Phi Phi at a different resort. Approximately two weeks ago, Agoda charged me around 11,[redacted] THB for the Krabi reservation. However, upon arrival at the Krabi accommodation, I was informed that the property had not received the payment and asked me to pay again. I have tried contacting Agoda's customer support through their website and application but have been unsuccessful in reaching them. Booking Reference: [redacted]61. I recently stayed at the Royal Panera’s Hotel in Chiang Mai and wanted to book another day for January 5 through Agoda. Unfortunately, there was a date mix-up during the booking process, and my reservation ended up being for January 14 instead of the intended January 5. Unlike airlines, there was no final confirmation step that allowed me to review the booking details before payment. I only realized the error after payment. Please cancel my booking with reference number [redacted]61 and process a refund to my Visa. Thank you.

Booking# [redacted]74 My stay at The Treehouse Bungalow was terrible. The room was infested with bedbugs, and I have photos to support this claim. The beds were dirty and lacked proper bedding. Struggling with the flu, I spent two days in bed and was bitten all over by the bedbugs. It wasn't until a pharmacist identified the bites that I realized the issue. The room had no hot water, despite having a shower. I refrained from showering for three days. Upon checkout, I was wrongly accused of not paying for my room and received a rude email. I promptly sent a copy of the credit card receipt to prove payment. The customer service was extremely poor. Paying $50 USD for such a substandard room is unacceptable. This establishment needs to be condemned. I am requesting a refund of the room charges in Agoda credits for future use. If not resolved, I'll contact my credit card company for a chargeback. I believe addressing this matter through your platform first would be wise.
